{pattern} ombre fingerless gloves

ombre_gloves1

It’s been a year since I last published a new pattern. Recently I’ve been inspired and experimenting with fair-isle. I love the look of the subtle colour patterns, but I hated all of the yarn switching and stranding. Instead I worked on a few mock fair-isle pieces which I am so excited about.

Of course, since fingerless gloves are my favourite all-season accessory, this first piece just had to be a pair of gloves!

This has got to be one of my favourite knit pieces. The style is simple but has an interesting modified rib texture. It’s the perfect Fall or cool weather accessory. I’ve designed it using my favourite yarn, Noro because each set knits up completely different – the offset pairings make this knit truly unique.

{pattern} everyday wristers

everyday wristers knitting patternI’m super excited to release my very first pattern for sale today!

I’ve been designing and knitting my own patterns since I started my shop, but actually gathering all of my notes, transcribing them into something that others could understand and test knitting was a little daunting.

So I started with one of my most favourite knits, these wristers, which I wear almost every cool day. They’re truly versatile!

I’m hoping that I’ll have a series of knitting patterns for sale over the summer. Stay tuned for more!
