I’d say that I did pretty well on my vow to knit from my stash and not bring in any new yarn in 2012 (save for a few could-not-resist skeins). But the year-end sale at my local yarn shop called to me and I couldn’t help but sneak in for some wooly goodness.
So what made it home with me, you ask? Well… let me tell you!
:: top row – 2 skeins of Mirasol Miski (100% baby lama) the softest ever!
:: middle row – 4 skeins of Noro Silk Garden (2 colourways) one of my very favourite yarns for a number of different projects!
:: bottom row – 2 skeins of Madelinetosh in a dreamy kelp colourway that is destined to be made into the Honey Cowl in the New Year; and 2 skeins of Alpaca Sock which will be knit into child-size legwarmers
So I didn’t go traditional boxing day shopping this year. Instead, I indulged in some really wooly deals! I’m happy.
How about you? Did you snag any post-Christmas deals?
