i knit for food

Like most parents, I assume, preparing lunches for their kids can be a chore. So when the opportunity to barter for some homemade hot lunches for knits came up, I jumped at the chance.

Sharon of Hart Felt Kitchen approached me for a few hand knits, this was a win-win. I love making knits for others, probably as much as she loves cooking for others, I bet.

So on the menu this week; homemade mac & cheese, veggie spiceless chickpea chilli and shell pasta with variety of hart-healthy vegetables! Don’t forget the corn mini muffins and orange and date loaf, too! Doesn’t that sound yummy!

K is simply delighted with the change in pace and variety of her lunch this week. Thanks Sharon. We LOVE this!
