{fo} charity hat #1

pattern: Miranda hat (child version)
yarn: patons classic wool
mods: I knit an additional half of the diamond pattern repeat (up to round 5) because I reached 5 inches before decrease without the additional round. I know for my kids, I need at least 5-1/2 inches before hat decreases. Full details and additional notes can be found on my Ravelry project page.

Again L was a very patient (she surprises me all the time, this little one) model — it must be because she loves the attention — for me this past weekend when I asked her to stand outside in 35 degree Celsius weather to try on a wool hat for her mama while she took her picture.

This hat and many others I hope to get finished before the end of September is part of a charity knitalong that I mentioned earlier, that I joined a couple weeks ago with the products of my knits going to Evelyn at Project Stash to give out to her local shelter in support of families in need of a meal.
