summer in october

You never would have known it was October by looking outdoors where I live, this weekend. With temperatures nearing 30 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday, we did all that we could to soak in the rays before the temperatures drop the rest of this week!

We enjoyed a drive up to the country-side to Millcroft Inn and Alton Mills, which used to, in fact, be a knitting mill, harnessing the creek to produce yarn in the 1840’s. The mills is now converted studio and gallery space.

So while I soaked in a little inspiration time in the studios…

The kiddos soaked in a little leaf play…

If only every weekend could be so sunny!
