my fair stash

Here’s a look at what I walked away with from the fair this weekend…starting from the top left:

:: Tanis Fiber Arts pink label lace yarn in shadow & charcoal colourways for Tanis’ new Ombre Cardigan pattern
:: Louet Gems merino wool in pink panther and cloud grey (score at $5/skein) for more legwarmies for the girls as they start dance and gymnastics this Fall
:: Candy sprinkles hand-dyed merino sock yarn by local Studiooo — I had to pick this one up for K & L (for the lolli alone) I’m envisioning matching socks or something fun like that!
:: Lorna’s Laces Lion & Lamb silk/wool in aslan colourway for Laura Chau’s Just Enough Ruffles scarf

Of course, I had to restrain from buying so much more. There was lots to feel and see. I’m hoping to get started on some of these projects in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!

  1. Hi, Flora! Thanks so much for visiting me at my new blog–great to see you! Sadly, I lost some links when I was transferring to a new blog, some of my blog roll didn’t make it, so I’ve been trying to recover it… LOL… But I was glad to see all you’ve been doing, and not least knitting! LOVE these soft, dusky hues. I’ve been knitting a little last in recent months due to tendonitis flair ups, but still keeping the sticks going when I can. I just finished knitting a poncho, and hope to share about it soon. Happy Days to you & yours :o) ((HUGS))

  2. Hey Flora,

You’re back writing! How cool! I follow the Tanis blog and I’m so jealous you got some of her yarn! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
