christmas weekending

hello christmas

Thanks to my 3-year-old, we’ve put up our Christmas tree this weekend. I’m not kidding!

This is the first time we’ve had our tree up before December 1st. But K was insistent  that we put up the tree TODAY, pretty please! And of course, we couldn’t say no to that. I don’t know where or how she learned “pretty please” but it is pretty adorable and quite irresistible.

And to top it off, it snowed this morning. K was so excited. She wanted to run outdoors and catch the giant snow flakes as they fell. It wasn’t a lot of snow and only lasted for about 15 minutes. Not enough to collect, but it was technically our first snowfall.

I can hear those sleigh bells ringing already…

  1. I love the snowman ornament. Your house must be very festival now. The snow always gets me in the mood. My youngest is drafting his wish list and anxiously awaiting the tree, but it seems odd to decorate when one child isn’t there. So, I think we’ll wait to the college boy returns. Enjoy the thrill with your little ones.
