i heart fridays: lacy cowls

My love obsession with cowls still continues from last week, but this time I want to share some of my favourite lacy cowls.

The one below is next in line on my must-knit-cowl list. The pattern is free from the purl bee – yay! Isn’t it gorgeous? Light and warm all at the same time! Love!

Why I heart these?
The airy feeling of these light cowls are so dreamy. I love the pretty patterns and the delicate yarn possibilities of lace knitting. However, my favourite part is the rhythmic feeling of a beautiful repeated pattern that lace provides. Those of you who are into lace knitting will understand how both comforting and interesting this can be. And these are two things I need much of these days!

Happy weekend, friends!

  1. LOVE all of these lovely lacey numbers… decision, decisions… LOL! I love cowls and neckwarmers–sometimes just a little around the neck is all you need, not a full, long scarf. Happy Knitting… Happy Days ((HUGS))
