Giving Thanks

Little Princess

Little Princess

A lot of food, family, friends and kids, combined with hubby’s fence project (still going…) and seemingly never-ending prep for our kitchen reno (more on this later); this past holiday weekend was very full. In the midst of all this busyness, a little end-of-the-day reflection (and some knitting) was done.

I’m thankful for my little princess, who makes me smile everyday. Her constant “why?” at every statement nowadays brings me back to earth and reminds me how uplifting curiosity is. I’m thankful for hubby and my family, who always support me and make my life easier in many countless ways. I’m thankful for my friends, who are fantastic and so much fun.

Some finished projects this weekend:

A little gift for a brand new babe…

And a little yellow hat with matching yellow mittens for my December babe…

At the end of the day, I have much to be thankful for.
