Unlike with my first-born, I have to admit that after almost 7 months of knowing this little one is coming, I haven’t finished a single project for this one. The reason is not for lack of wanting or having ideas (I actually have an entire list of patterns and pictures ear-marked!)
It’s more about time. I always think I have more time than I actually have. So other projects and activities crept up in it’s place. But finally, after starting both of these this past summer, I have something to show!
K took an instant liking to these little baby booties and wanted to model them for us!

One of my favourite designs in Debbie Bliss’ Simply Baby pattern book is this striped sweater — mostly because I envisioned that the perfect buttons would complete it. And of course, they did!
