first haircut

My littlest one was born with a head full of hair. Actually both my children were. Until recently, we’ve just been putting clips in her hair to hold back her really long bangs, but it sometimes looks like she has a bad comb-over! Funny! Continue reading

Progress on my sweater is moving right along! I’m really excited about how this will turn out at the end. Hum… maybe a little knit fashion show will be had once it’s complete! Continue reading

your opinion please

I’m generally opposed to watching TV and eating, as I’m sure most parents are, but a couple of weeks ago, we had lunch out and our waiter, after taking our order, brought out a portable DVD player loaded with a cartoon for K. i heart fridays: crochet goodness

Because of my love for yarn, I’m also drawn to all yarn craft. Crocheting has always been a bit of a mystery to me because I could never really follow a pattern. Every time I picked up a crochet instruction book, the terms seemed to be written in another language. So I took up knitting because I got it right away. Continue reading
