happy birthday to me
It’s a weekend of celebrations, housekeeping and play.
Here’s a peek at what’s been going on this weekend for us.
I decided it was finally time to start fixing up a nursery for L. A few modifications to the room that K once slept in, including the monkey wall art and “winter” picture (for my winter babe) purchased here.
And some fort building. With a deep freeze going on outside, indoor play including chairs, blankets, pillows (and snacks) plus some imagination was in order!
Winter has been a very busy season of celebrations for us so far. Between L’s birth, the holidays, K’s birthday and my own, we’ve packed in a lot of cake over the past month!

Happy birthday to you! I hope your family was good to you. I used to love building forts with my kids….Sometimes, when they were really little, we would all take a nap in our fort. That was the only way to get them to sleep — my kids were not big nappers. Whatever works.
