Peace & Joy

Counting Down: Day 2

K is spending the day with grandma and grandpa today so I have some time to myself and a little rest. Report from my midwife today: still 2-3 cms dialated (which is the same as last week) and 40% effaced. Doesn’t look good that this baby is coming out anytime today, at least. Continue reading

Green Crafts: Wreath

Since I’ve been at home this past week, I’ve been thinking about a holiday craft project that K and I could do together. Inspired by this repurposed holiday wreath, K and I crafted our own version using old Christmas cards, vintage buttons and saved satin ribbon from previous gift wrappings — a truly green wreath!
